Since the Disney movie “Frozen”, its official soundtrack “Let it Go” has been a smash hit, even driving the self-titled album of Beyonce out of the top spot of music charts. As of November, the movie has already earned more than $3.3 million because of its beautiful storyline and catchy soundtrack. The popularity of the song is just too overwhelming that many amateur and professional artists continue to make their own versions of the song and upload them on YouTube.  Recently, the song topped the best of the best as it won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Here is a list of 10 “Let it Go” versions that you should never miss:

10. 8 and 10 Year-Old Sophia and Bella

Sophia and Bella’s version of “Let it Go” is the most popular acapella rendition of the song. Aside from their beautiful voices, what makes this version so widely popular is the fact that the singers behind these voices are very young. Sophia is only 10 years old while Bella is only 8. The voices of these two young girls perfectly go with each other that they did not need any background music to do their cover. Not to mention that cute self-introduction where they both messed up.

9. Caleb Hayles

Madi Lee’s cover of “Let it Go” is not just like any other. In her video, she superimposes herself within the scenes from the original movie “Frozen,” with all the costume changes and Elsa’s hair. Her version of the song is widely praised not just because of its special effects but even more so, because of the beautiful voice of the 14-year old singer.

8. Grace Lee

The nicely edited video of Grace Lee of  Frozen’s “Let it Go” features actual clips from the original movie. The young vocalist has successfully pulled off her cover with her beautiful singing voice, earning her the title of “YouTube’s Frozen Idol.” With the perfect combination of vocal control and video production, her cover is one of the “Let it Go” versions with the most number of views on YouTube. As of February, the cover already had almost one million views on the video sharing site and was the highest viewed version aside from the versions of Demi Lovato and Menzel.

7. Disney and Pixar

In this “Let it Go” version by voice impersonator Brian Hull, he mashed 21 various Disney and Pixar voices to come up with an ingenious cover that garnered two million views on You Tube on its first few days. He shot the video in one seamless take and featured the voices of several Disney and Pixar characters, including Pumbaa, Tigger, Goo, Mickey Mouse, Mike Wazowski and Jack Sparrow. According to Hull, he felt the urge to preserve the original Disney magic of the song, so he thought of featuring the characters singing the song. His video also features characters from the movies The Lion King, Up, The Little Mermaid, Winnie the Pooh, The Jungle Book and Pirates of the Caribbean. 

6. Steamfaerie

The “Let it Go” cover of Steamfaerie has garnered over 800,000 views since it was posted on You Tube two months ago. Compared with other versions of the song, hers is more upbeat and less spectacular. The cover features the singer, clad in different princess outfits and singing the song against a snow-filled background.

5. The SamTsui

This cover by You Tube superstar Sam Tsui is one of the best known “Let it Go” versions on You Tube today. In his version, he used two popular and powerful songs to come up with a flawless and ingenious rework of the “Frozen” theme song. The mash-up features “Let it Go” from the Disney movie and “Let Her Go” by Passenger, a chill folk-rock ballad. The singer considered mashing up a whale of a challenge at first, but considering the more than a million views that it has garnered on You Tube, it’s undeniable that he pulled it off.

In their video, The Piano Guys performs a spectacular rendition of the “Frozen” theme song by incorporating themes from “The Four Seasons” of Vivaldi, which is set inside the Ice Castles in Utah.

Maddie and Zoe, both huge fans of the successful Disney movie musical “Frozen,” have successfully rendered their passionate vocals in their own version of “Let it Go.” In their video, the two kids have infused the stirring lyrics and catchy melody of the song with their youthful energy. The four-year old twins cannot read yet, so they are just listening to the track on their headphones and what they sing is just their interpretation of the lyrics that they hear. Dubbed as the most adorable cover of the song, their video features a good dose of cute antics that any viewer would definitely find adorable.

1. Alex Boye and the One Voice Children’s Choir

Known as the Africanized tribal cover of “Let it Go,” the version of Alex Boye remains one of the most viewed videos of the song on YouTube. Alex Boye is an African singer-songwriter who has strong background in putting his own spin on popular songs. In doing the cover of the song, he teamed up with Lexi Walker and the One Voice Children’s Choir of Salt Lake City and has gained much popularity on the video sharing site because of their soulful rendition of the song. As of February 13, Boye’s video already had 181,000 views on YouTube.
