Just recently I wrote an article about how to get yourself out of a rut and the number one way to get yourself out of the rut is by meditation. Now I want to touch more on meditation to help you understand as to why it’s important that we meditate daily. Meditation doesn’t just help with getting you out of rut. 8. Speaking of weight loss, it can help with breaking bad eating habits
Tired of not losing weight? Try meditation for weight loss or maybe you need to meditate to help you with gaining weight. Meditation helps with cutting back on binge eating plus it helps to conquer emotional eating. You can also meditate and listen to see what kind of diet you need to be on. Meditation can help to let you know what your body needs and this is the best way to lose weight. This does not mean you will be able to lose weight without doing nothing at all. On the article that I did with coming out of a rut one suggestion was to sleep better at night. What if you have a hard time sleeping at night? What if you cannot sleep and no matter what you do, you find yourself awake? This is where meditation comes in. You may or may not feel the benefits of it instantly but if you keep meditating every day you will be able to sleep better at night because it’ll calm your nerves down. People who don’t meditate before bed; often times end up having to take sleeping pills.

If you’re trying to help protect your heart in a natural way then meditation is a great way to start. It can help with reducing the chance of strokes, heart attacks and might even help with preventing death. A lot of people have no idea that meditation helps the heart but it does. Think about it. Meditation calms you down. When you’re stressed then it effects your heart but when you’re calm you’re doing your heart a favor. If you have heart issues or problems try to increase your meditation more. You’ll be surprised as to how it’ll help your heart.

Studies show that meditation also helps with building better relationships with people. You’ll be able to see things better and this will help you to communicate with people. When your vision is clouded then communication becomes sticky. Meditation will help you with coming out of the fog and open up ways to help you with being able to communicate with people better in general. You’ll be able to approach relationships that are tricky with having a calm body and mind.

4. Say goodbye to colds
You’ll no longer have to buy cough drops or worry about grabbing those box of tissues every few minutes. Meditation helps with keeping colds away and other illnesses. If you still end up getting sick or recovering from a sickness you will be able to recover faster. Another bonus with this is that means you won’t have to need to take sick days from work and will be able to make more money. Try to meditate around 2 or 3 times a day if you’re sick now or have a low immune system to help with building it up again. See yourself having a healthy body and the sickness going down to earth and away from you. Drinking tea along with meditation is another great way to build up your immune system naturally.

3. Meditation can help with boosting your memory
If you’re having a hard time with remembering things then try to meditate. The answers will come to you when your body is relaxed. Sometimes sticky notes might help but other times you might even forget to write it down. Meditation helps with cutting back on any thoughts that might be distracting. When you’re distracted you’re not able to think clear and might end up forgetting important things.

2. It helps to relieve depression and headaches
A lot of people struggle with headaches and depression. Often times these two can be linked with stress. Again, meditation helps to relax your body. This will help with getting rid of your headache that was caused by stress and tension. Headaches can even cause depression. Meditation will take away the depression and feel you with peace again.

1. You’ll be able to spread around the light more with meditation
One of the main reasons as to why you should meditate is because you’ll be able to spread the light more with meditation. You’ll become a very nice person and will be able to kill the world with your kindness so to speak. The world needs this. Imagine being able to help with healing others on the inside. You’ll become a beacon a light to those in need. They will reach out to you. You’ll know how to help them effectively. If you’re worried about becoming tired from helping them then don’t forget what I mentioned above about meditation being able to re-energize you naturally. One interesting note is that ones who meditate tend to not use the word “I” so much. Instead they say the word “we” a lot more.
